Trip
to Scotland
September 19-24, 2002
Melissa and I had a jolly good time in Scotland. Perhaps she more than me, but that's o.k.! I learned a lot of new words during my trip to Scotland, here are a few:
crisps
= chips (potatoe, tortilla, etc.)
fancy
= like
loch = lake
football = soccer
haggis = eewww gross
take a lie down = a nap
man size hankie = kleenex for men
(they
actually make special extra large kleenex just for men)
