Proposal Night

The best night of my life (so far), Chris proposed in Baltimore on December 23rd. I picked him up at BWI and we had one night alone together before we hopped
between our families for Christmas weekend.

He told me he booked a room at the Marriott, but he really booked us at the
very ritzy Pier 5 Hotel at the Inner Harbor. We went up to the room where after 2 minutes he said he was going to go get us some drinks at the bar. He comes back 5 minutes later w/ out drinks (apparently they wouldn't let him bring them back up to the room), but only a few minutes after that we had a knock at the door. The hotel brought us champagne and a box of Godiva chocolates. He said it came w/ the package he purchased. After opening the champagne, I couldn't wait any longer because I was starving so I grabbed the box of chocolate.....and in the box was THE RING! : ) He got down on one knee and told me all kinds of nice mushy stuff. He was all nervous and very cute. I'm such a lucky girl.

We only had a few minutes before a car was waiting to take us to dinner. We went
to Da Mimmo's in Little Italy. Our table wasn't ready so we sat at the bar for a few minutes. Then the maitre'd took us around to our table. He asked if the table was o.k. and then asked if I'd prefer the one behind us that is tucked in the corner....I turned around to see both our parents sitting at the table. It was a VERY big surprise. We all sat down for a very yummy dinner. Chris was very sneaky... but the night was absolutely perfect!!!!!
